Nivea Men Post Shave Balm As A Primer?!

I've mentioned many times on here about my love for primers and for me I find them an essential when applying my make up if I want my make up to last all day.

I love testing out different primers to find the perfect one to keep my make up on. I am a huge fan of Nikkie Tutorials and she regularly uses the Nivea Men Post Shave Balm as a primer in her videos. Curiosity got the better of me and I tried it (and have used to everyday ever since) and so has everyone else who I've passed on the tip too.

Ocean Sunset Eye Tutorial // Make Up Geek

Recently, after a few big purchases from Make Up Geek to build up my kit I've been getting into doing different eye looks and experimenting with different colours and styles.

Yesterday, I came up with a really beautiful look inspired by this picture of the sunset over the ocean. I loved the blue, purple and pink colours and thought it'd look stunning on the eyes. Keep reading to find out what eyeshadows I used to achieve the look.

My look is currently on the front page of the Make Up Geek website but you can also see it here.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water // Review

Primers are one of my favourite make up products to try mainly because make up on me just does not last it'll have faded or disappeared within just a couple of hours if I don't wear a primer so for me, this step in my make up routine is an essential.
One primer that kept popping up on different blogs, on people's youtube videos and pretty much everywhere was the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water. I ended up ignoring the hype of this product for a few months mainly because I had only ever heard of sprays to set your make up not to use as a primer so I was confused as to how a spray more inparticularly how a water which is how it's marketed would help to keep my make up on.

Hi everyone!!

I know I haven't been the most active on my blog and have been lacking greatly in blog posts for a while but I've been really busy at the moment with work and getting back into college.

I will try and get back into blogging soon once I already have a few bits I want to share with you and posts planned especially since my favourite season is coming up, Autumn, I've expressed a few times how it's my favourite season for make up etc.

This is just a quick post asking you to go onto facebook and please like my facebook page and maybe give it a share to your friends. My facebook page is where I'll be posting my make up/hair and body art creations from both college and my freelance work. It'll include 'normal' everyday make up all the way to face paint and special effects which you will be able to see if you have a look.

theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer Luminiser // Review

Highlights are one of my favourite make up products, no matter how your skin is looking once you apply a bit of highlighter it just boosts the look of your skins radiance, makes you look glowing and healthy.

One of the highlighters which always popped up on blogs or youtube videos was theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer and although my make up collection is pretty big I definitely lacked in variety when it came to highlighters so I thought i'd give in and try it out.

Level 2 Hair and Media Make Up - Completed

So do you remember back in September of 2014 where I promised to write up on my college course every month and ended up just doing 3 months before I disappeared of the face of blogging?

Well I've now completed my college course and I've had so many questions asking how I got on and my opinion and thoughts on the course and if I would recommend it. So this post is going to be all about my course.

I started my course back in September with no other professional training in hair and make up, anything I knew previously I had taught myself. When I first started my course I was nervous because I had never done anything dramatic and I had no idea what I would have done if I went into college and they asked me to do a full body art. I never thought myself of an artistic nor a creative person however through my year in college these parts of me have come out drastically.

MAC Cool Neutrals 15x Eyeshadow Palette // Review

When it comes down to make up, eyes are my favourite part to play around with since you can create so many different looks and also use the eyeshadow in different ways to enhance the colour of your eyes or make the shape of the eyes appear different. There's definitely a lot more versatility when it comes to eye make up then anything else.

As you probably know I love MAC and it's hands down my favourite brand of make up, for a while now I've been building up my own MAC eyeshadow palette however when I was browsing the internet I stumbled across their already filled eyeshadows in Warm Neutral and Cool Neutral and I couldn't help but add them both to my basket.

The Best Of 2014 // Favourites

Now that we're into 2015, it's time to look back and reflect on 2014 or in the eyes on make up addicts it's time to look back and reflect on our favourite products which became our saviours over the past year and we reached for whenever possible and more often than others.

I love these kind of posts because it shows if a product is actually good if it's been your favourite for a whole year because it easy to like something for a few weeks and then completely go off it which is a reason I don't to monthly favourites because I switch my make up so often I don't connect to something for a month long.

However there have been a select few products which I have found during 2014 and completely fallen in love with. All these products I've used almost every day or as much as I could and have become obsessed with.

My 2015 bucketlist...

I hate new years resolutions, I don't think I have ever managed to stick to a resolution I make because I either don't have the motivation or I just forget and don't bother with it.
I was thinking recently of what my 2015 resolutions could be and the things I came up with weren't exactly resolutions they were more of things I want to do or achieved over the next year and I quickly ended up coming up with a bucketlist.

I prefer the idea of a 2015 bucketlist as it's less serious than a resolution and it's more of something I can achieve then something to change or do and it also means throughout the year I can come back to this post and cross out things I have achieved, so this is my 2015 bucketlist...
